Transom

Stern is considered the noblest part of the ship and a transom doesn’t have a lesser role in that. According to the plans, the transom (bulkhead 8) should be 9 mm thick and its doubler also 9 mm thick. Since I remade the transom of 12 mm ply, I chose a 6 mm plywood for the doubler, and that seems to work just fine.
