Boats

The boats of this blog are sailing dinghies suitable for cruising and gunkholing. They have shallow draft and are easy to move to different waters on trailer. Even if installing an outboard would be perfectly possible these two boats conform to the sail and oars principle (French voile-aviron) that means they are powered by either wind or muscle power.

Name Type Description
Sarastus Wayfarer Sarastus was brought from United Kingdom where she was used for racing. We have used her for five-person family cruising on lakes and archipelagoes where she has served us well.
Merisirri SCAMP The building project is in progress currently. SCAMP is a new sailing dinghy type which has gained attention around the world. It’s optimal for single and double-handed sailing.

The smaller the boat the bigger the adventure.
