Sole

Making the sole started by cutting and gluing water ballast top. It also included the first hatch which is made of plywood instead of plastic. In case of the sole there is a deviation from the plans as the doubler was added to the bottom of the sole. This means there won’t be gutters on the cockpit floor. Because of the footwell and lack of sumps and bailers at stern, the sumps would barely have any function.

A surprising amount of time was spent on the details of the cockpit. The number of coats of paint also took its toll.
